Advantages Of Fan Filter Unit
Flexible and easy to replace and install
Fan filter unit has its own power. It is also self-contained and modular, and the matching flter is easy to replace, so it is not restricted by the area. In the cleanroom, it can be controlled according to the needs and replaced and moved as needed.
Negative pressure ventilation
Since fan filter unit can provide static pressure, the cleanroom has a positive pressure relative to the outside, so that external particles will not be leaked into the clean area, making the seal simple and safe.
Short installation period
Using fan filter unit eliminates the production and installation of air ducts and shortens the construction period.
Space-saving
Compared with other systems, the fan filter unit occupies less floor height in the air supply static pressure box and basically does not occupy cleanroom space.
Air Intake: The FFU draws in air from the cleanroom or from the outside.
Pre-Filtering: A pre-filter captures larger particles, protecting and extending the life of the main HEPA/ULPA filter.
Main Filtration: The air passes through the HEPA or ULPA filter, capturing very fine particles and microorganisms to achieve a high level of air purity.
Air Distribution: Clean, filtered air is evenly distributed back into the cleanroom, maintaining the desired cleanroom standards.
The main components of FFU are housing, a fan, HEPA filter, motor and controller.
Housing: Made of galvanized steel, powder-coated steel or stainless steel SUS 304.
Centrifugal-type fan with motor: Sucks and blows the air to create the static pressure, then brings the air through HEPA flter.
HEPA flter: The most important part of FFU, which flters the air and creates a fresh and clean environment for laboratories, workshops, cleanrooms, etc.
Controller: Equipped with a 3-position switch for speed control, and on/off switch. There are 3 levels of fan speed (low, medium, and high).
