Structure of Clean Booth
Frame: The frame is the part that shapes the size and shape of the clean booth. The material commonly used is stainless steel, ensuring high durability, good load-bearing capacity, and corrosion resistance. Depending on the usage needs, the frame can be designed in various sizes.
FFU (Fan Filter Unit): FFU is an air filtration device that generates clean air in a laminar flow, helping to remove dust, bacteria, and other pollutants in the air. The number of FFUs required for a Clean Booth depends on the desired cleanliness level.
Walls: Clean Booth has two main types of walls: rigid walls and soft walls. Rigid walls are usually made of tempered glass or panel boards, with the advantages of durability, easy cleaning, good impact resistance, but higher cost and heavier weight. Soft walls are made of anti-static curtains, with the advantages of easy movement, light weight, low cost, but lower impact resistance and durability.
Lights: Clean Booth uses dust-free cleanroom lights, usually LED lights for energy efficiency, long lifespan, and no heat emission.
Wheels: Clean Booth is equipped with multi-directional wheels for easy movement and locks to fix the wheels, ensuring the stability of Clean Booth during use.
Clean Booth may have additional components such as air conditioning system, alarm system, monitoring system, etc.
Clean booth operates based on the principle of laminar flow. The return air door is at the bottom of the hanging curtain or mesh curtain. The filtered clean air is delivered from the air supply device from top to bottom with a constant velocity of about 0.45m/s ± 20%.
The clean air flow forms a straight vertical one-way flow on the same surface, pushing the air inside clean booth downwards, then exhausting it to achieve the required cleanliness level. Clean booth does not rely on dilution but on clean air flow to push pollutants in the space out.
