FFU mainly consists of four parts
1) Box body
The commonly used materials are galvanized aluminum alloy coated steel plate, aluminum alloy, and stainless steel. The first function is to support the fan and air guide ring, and the second is to support the guide plate. The sturdy structure of the box ensures the overall stability of the FFU, which can withstand the weight of internal components and various stresses generated during operation. Boxes made of different materials also have their own unique performance advantages. Galvanized aluminum alloy coated steel plates have good corrosion resistance and cost-effectiveness, while aluminum alloy materials are relatively light and easy to install and transport. Stainless steel, on the other hand, demonstrates excellent durability and hygiene in specific environments.
2) Guide plate
The air flow balancing device is built inside the box, around the bottom of the fan. The role of the deflector is crucial as it can guide the airflow to distribute evenly, avoiding situations where local airflow is too large or too small, thereby ensuring stable and consistent airflow throughout the clean space. By precisely regulating the airflow, the baffle helps to improve the purification efficiency of FFU, enabling clean air to cover various areas more effectively.
3) Fan
There are three types: AC/1Phase, EC/1Phase, and AC/3Phase. Different types of fans are suitable for different application scenarios. Single communication fans have wide applicability and mature technology, with relatively low cost; DC fans have higher efficiency and lower noise, which can meet the requirements of places with higher operating environments; Three types of AC fans typically have high power and stable performance, making them suitable for large clean spaces.
4) Control components
For communication FFU, commonly used are five speed governors or infinite speed governors; The control chip of the DC system is embedded inside the motor, and remote control is achieved through dedicated control software, computers, control gateways, and network lines. The intelligence level of control components continues to improve, providing users with a more convenient and accurate operating experience. A five speed governor can meet the wind speed requirements under different working conditions, while an infinite speed governor can achieve more continuous and smooth wind speed regulation. The remote control function of the DC system enables users to centrally manage and monitor multiple FFUs in the central control room or remote locations, improving the operational efficiency and reliability of the system.
In summary, these four main components of FFU work together to provide efficient and stable air purification services for clean rooms and other environments.
