Rotary tablet press machine is a tablet production equipment that operates in a continuous cycle. According to function, the whole machine can be divided into scraping area, pre pressing area, main pressing area, discharge area, residual material recovery and powder removal area.
The main function of the powder scraping area is to evenly distribute the powder into the mold holes, ensuring a consistent amount of material for each pressing process. This process is usually completed by a scraper or scraper.
The pre pressing area is the first area that materials pass through after entering the mold hole. The function of the pre pressing area is to initially compress the material, allowing the powder particles to combine and partially release air, thereby enabling the material to form initially. This step can improve the quality and density of the final tablet press.
The main pressure area is the area where materials enter after passing through the pre pressure area. There are two main pressure wheels in the main pressure area. Under the action of the main pressure wheels, the upper and lower punch heads of the mold come close to each other, applying greater pressure to the raw materials and ultimately compressing them into tablets.
The discharge area refers to the process of pushing the tablets out of the mold hole by downward flushing, and then pushing them out by a machine arm. This process requires ensuring that the pills are taken out intact and undamaged.
The residual material recycling and powder removal area refers to the area around the mold where some powder or fragments may remain during the tablet pressing process. Remove these residues, keep the tablet pressing area clean, and reuse the recycled residual materials. This process is usually accomplished through vacuum cleaning or other powder removal equipment.
After passing through the scraping area, pre pressing area, main pressing area, discharge area, and residual material recovery and powder removal area, a cycle is formed to press the material into sheets, and continuous pressing is the repetition of this cycle.
